Mineral fiber packing performance is determined by fiber grade, impregnation, and braid density. Those are measurable variables — and Kaxite measures them on each production lot before dispatch, so the report matches the batch, not the catalog.

Impregnation & Fiber Grade Development

PTFE, graphite, and oil impregnations cover most pump, valve, and static high-temperature duties. For aggressive media, high-temperature service, or specific friction targets, the lab evaluates the impregnation and fiber grade against the buyer's operating envelope.

  • PTFE dispersion for chemical resistance and low friction
  • Graphite for thermal stability and static joint sealing
  • Oil for asbestos grades in steam and hot water
  • Fiber grade review for temperature, pH, and dynamic limits

What the Buyer Receives

For each qualified specification, the buyer can receive test data tied to the production batch, not a generic catalog value. This matters when the packing goes into a documented maintenance or shutdown scope.

  • Batch-level test report with measured values
  • Link to MTR and EN 10204 3.1 certificate when specified
  • Technical data sheet with temperature, pressure, and pH limits
  • Impregnation and grade notes for repeat orders

Have a specification that standard mineral fiber packing cannot meet?

Send the operating conditions and the lab team will review the grade and impregnation route.
